The Bull Durham Blues Festival is one of those events in Durham that cannot be missed. Sponsored by the St. Joseph’s Historic Foundation, this is one of the country’s best known blues festival.
In its 25th year, the Bull Durham Blues Festival will run September 7 and 8, 2012 this year at the Durham Athletic Park, located at 500 West Corporations Street in Durham. The gates will open each evening at 5:00 pm, with the concert from 6:00 pm to midnight.
This year’s line up will reflect the importance of Carolina and Piedmont Blues with Marcia Ball and Justin Johnson on Friday, and the majestic Otis Clay and E. Train and the Rusted Rails on Saturday. In addition to the music there will be food and drink vendors on hand.
