Chapel Hill’s Most Beloved Restaurants

Crook's CornerThere is a huge selection of fantastic restaurants right outside of our new apartments in North Chapel Hill. With so many options, it can be hard to decide where to eat, so we’ve narrowed it down to some of the greatest places around.

  • The Ye Olde Waffle Shoppe has been a fixture of the neighborhood since 1972, and it never disappoints. This restaurant has the best breakfast around along with some tasty sandwiches. Be sure to try the pecan waffles!
  • The Lantern Restaurant was named one of the country’s top 50 restaurants. Chef Reusing was named one of the 15 Green Chefs and is a James Beard Award-winner for Best Chef. With that many accolades, you know this restaurant must be doing something right.
  • Crook’s Corner Café & Bar is another award-winning restaurant in the neighborhood. This restaurant has won the James Beard Award for America’s Classic and were called “sacred ground for Southern foodies” by The New York Times. You won’t find a better classical Southern menu, so make sure to stop by when you’re in the mood for some of your old favorites.
