Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday Parade

Downtown Chapel Hill

The parade route begins at the Morehead Planetarium and travels through the town along Franklin Street until it ends at Carrboro Town Hall.

Starry Nights: Winter Skies

Morehead Planetarium
December 21, 7:30 p.m.

The stars could be called nature’s Christmas lights, so take the family to see what’s special about them at the Morehead Planetarium. This seasonal display will help your family learn how to identify stars, constellations and planets that are appearing overhead during the holidays, while also learning legends from the cultures that gave the constellations their names.

Home for the Holidays

This interactive improve show takes on all things holiday-themed, helping you laugh at yourself and the craziness that happens during the holiday season.
