There are many festivals in Durham to keep you busy this month. Here is one that we’d suggest you mark on your calendars before it passes you by.

The World Beer Festival will be coming to town on October 5 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  It has changed the world and built many a fortune over the years. Head on down to Durham Athletic Park on October 5 to learn more about this sudsy beverage.

There are hundreds of beers that you can enjoy as you walk the grounds of the festival. These beers are coming from all over the world and they are well worth taking a taste. There will be lagers from Europe, Ales from Asia, and of course there will be plenty of North American breweries on hand to pour a pint or two.

Tickets are on sale now and cost between $45 and $75. You’ll want to hurry and get yours soon as they will sell out quickly, and you don’t want to be the only person in town with an empty glass.
