Check Out the Great Exhibits at The Museum of Life and Science

People, plants and animals interact at the Museum of Life and Science

The Museum of Life and Science in Durham, N.C. will spark your child’s love for science, and if you’re not careful, it might reignite your passion for learning. This museum is a place where kids of all ages will be immersed in science and embrace lifelong learning.

The exhibits are incredible, and it’s only 15 minutes from your home at Chapel Hill North Apartments.

Inside the museum you can sit in a real Apollo Space Capsule, explore a full-scale Lunar Lander or touch a 13-foot tornado and see more than 75 animal species of Carolina Wildlife.

Outside, the whole family can see the award-winning Explore the Wild exhibit. This is a six-acre outdoor exhibit proclaimed “a national model” by the Nation Science Foundation. It is the first science center to link people with plants, animals and interactive exhibits all outside.

The Explore the Wild exhibit features a beautiful wetland habitat, as well as natural habitats for black bears, red wolves and lemurs.
